About Party Pig

We specialise in whole spit roasted pigs slowly cooked turning for a minimum of seven hours to produce succulent self basted pork and the finest crackling imaginable.

Your spit roasted pig will be cooked and carved in our fully stainless steel roasters in front of your guests and served with fresh large bread rolls baked on the day of your event at our local bakers, tasty sage and onion stuffing and topped with fruity apple sauce. We specialise in whole spit roasted pig or lamb slowly cooked turning for a minimum of seven hours to produce succulent self basted pork with our secret Somerset rub giving the finest crackling imaginable.

We also offer fresh homemade salads and side dishes, prepared using as much local or home grown produce as possible from our local sources. We can tailor to your requirements and hot new potatoes make accompanied with salads etc make a great meal.

Any number of guests can be catered for and we will serve the first to the same high standard as the last.

The Farm

We are based in the southwest near Bristol, at Lower Stock farm on the outskirts of the village of Wrington at the foot of the mendip hills in 250 acres of unspoilt countryside. At the rear of our farmhouse we have a large poly tunnel and raised bed garden where we grow as much produce as possible to use in our food. We also have a woodland with a small orchard at one end which gives us the apples to make our own lovely sauce. We have been perfecting the art of spit roast catering over the last ten years. Our business has grown through recommendations.

The Animals

All our animals are kept at the highest possible standards. They are bred to be perfect for spit roasting; the quality comes from the breeding, their habitat, diet and welfare. We carry these high standards through to our catering. As farmers it is important to keep down food miles and use as much local meat as possible from local farms.

The Team

Our staff are all trained and experienced in all roles that are undertaken. We are always smart and well presented in black uniform and aprons ensuring a professional service for you and your guests. Our carvers are trained butchers giving you correctly carved quality meat fresh off the bone of your spit roast. We are fully insured and have the appropriate health and safety training and certificates.
